Her documentary short, In Custody Of The State: A Case For Saraya developed with Springhill Productions is currently in the festival circuit. This film was a passion project developed and shot by Kelsey, focusing on the story of Saraya Rees - a biracial teenager experiencing a mental health crisis who was sentenced to prison. She helped raise over $50k for the family and release Saraya from jail.
